Priest Meeting

Post by FrankKennedy on Thu Sep 18, 2014 8:33 am

As Deacon of the city I'm requesting all priests and scholars of enlightenment to meet with me.

Several members of the diocese are actively seeking enlightenment. This meeting is to facilitate those efforts and to refocus our faith through discussion and ritae.

Much of our focus has been jumping from crisis to crisis of late. It is important that we not lose sight of our goals and ideals.

OOC: I'd like to run this on here to encourage rp and board use.

Deacon Kennedy, I find it very refreshing that with some victory we can keep in mind the sanctity of our spirituality. Having recently lost two founding members of my pack, discovering one more and having a probationary member I am provided with a new challenge to my duties. Both of my Knights are well secure in their faith, and looking to further strengthen their convictions. My ductus' enlightenment continues steadily as does my own. Our newest member is looking to take one of the most difficult roads, but one of merit. I have yet to be able to have enough sermons with our probationary member to gauge his enlightenment. Which of our brothers and sisters can I assist you with?

No particular individual. I want to make sure everyone has been made aware of the teachers they seek. I'm mentoring a cainite on becoming a noddist. Another is attempting to create a new path, a rather unique challenge that could use all of our input.

Hrm, that is intriguing. One would think the most dangerous point would be the breaking point from their humanity or current enlightenment. Also, with having to develop the entire path, slips would be very tragic.

I apologize. My priest has been quite busy this month in reflection of Caine. We had an argument over duty and spirit and he and the rest of the pack have agreed to reflect on this. i have come to offer my services and knowledge of enlightenment, while he has gone to meditate and bring himself to his fullest while we welcome a new potential pack member.  He means no disrespect to this gathering, but takes his duties very seriously, and wishes to make sure that those that join our covenant are given the best he has to offer. As such I think we should take some time to speak about the goals of enlightenment. I understand that someone is attempting to find a new road. A worthy goal, but I think they might fail if they first do not understand their beginning. I offer my knowledge and service in their endeavor for enlightenment, but question if they are jumping from one path to another. Those that have created their own way in Caines name were of strong will, those that have followed in an others will and diverged are also strong for different reasons. I question if they created a path from the base, or are diverging from a path they already have set upon. The perils on road are great, but I believe I can assist in the former.

Sorry for the lateness of my response. I've been in deep reflection of my path and strengthening my resolve. I'll offer my services as well, as best as I can. The one that wishes to create his own path, this has me quite curious. As for I wish to watch this progress. It be a good incite as to the roots of all our paths beginnings.

Forgive me as well for my lateness I am unaccustomed to my new role in my pack and currently trying to gain wisdom on how to fulfill my duties for myself. I wish to teach enlightenment to all of my fellow Cainites, once I better understand enlightenment and the path of spirituality myself. I offer my services as well when I am able to aid you in your request, Your Excellency.
Your humble servant Faye

(OOC this is is from my pack priest, he asked me to post this.)
i apologize for my lack of communication with the other pack priests as i have been paying more attention to our bishop mordecai's more esoteric callings. i assure you, without fail that i have our sect's spiritual guidance at the forefront of my thoughts and deeds in this dark time. and with my substantial wisdom i can guarantee that more dark times are ahead and in need of our irredeemable insight.

all are one under caine, your loving templar, the good doctor, lionel lovelace
