Down the Rabbit Hole

The nights events shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, least of all her. Its the natural reply, piss off enough people and someone will retort when you feel safest. Though the snipping with the harpoon gun was new. Sadly with the long list of enemies the sect makes, these ones seem to be new ones. This meant one of two things, the city is sloppy and doesn't keep track of the ins and outs. Or they have been here for awhile and now are making it's move. In part she hopes its the first one, at least tryin to educate people who think hittin is fun that influence is important is a much easier job than flushing out rats nests.

Deep in thought, she walks up the stairs to an old and familiar place. She pauses briefly before entering Do I want to go down this path again? The slight pause gave way as she pushed open the door. It looked the same as she last remember it, even the guy tending to the church is the same. The man walks up to her "Is there something I can help you with my child?" She gives a slight nod "I'm seeking absolution" The man gestures to the confessional. "I don't think you are able...." He stops her in mid sentence "I don't think you understand child, step into the confessional." She steps in and when the door closes, she hears a click and falls.

"Son of a" as the brief decent stops with a thump on a pads or pillows, hell could be an old couch. Out of habit, she brushes herself off and stares down the hallway. "Looks like I go down the rabbit hole."

Heading down semi dark hallway, it suddenly opens up in to a wondrous library. She scans over the books on subject matters she needs to reintroduce herself to, and some that she didn't know where in print. She scans over one in particular, one she may have to ask to borrow.

"While this is a nice collection of books, where is the toad that owns them..."
