An idle night after the incident, Archibald finds himself pondering:

"I've never gotten used to it. That feeling when he's inside me. It's so intimate, and so frightening. I can't control myself. For a brief moment we are one, but, of course, it's his show. I wish only to please him, but I could feel his displeasure. He had a special distaste for that kind of intimacy. He didn't like to do it unless he felt it was absolutely necessary to make his presence known. It soils him, he feels. It must pain him to be reminded of what existence was once like, for he is so far beyond that now. I feel ashamed that he was forced to belittle himself so.

The dreams! Why did he have to find out about the dreams? What a cruel plague to befall me. A curse of sweet lies. Now, I am sure to be killed for falling sway to this affliction. I swear my loyalty every day, but still, no chances can be taken. A Grimaldi who as much as thinks the other grass looks greener meets a very quick end. I am most fortunate that Pack Chop Shop stepped in to offer a cure rather than a swift death. I wonder what their motivation could be? Most likely to find standing in good graces with my dear Priscus. Still, they may be the best place to start.

It's decided. I shall call them and request that I be allowed to take up some of their time with this problem of mine. Perhaps they may help."

And with that, he makes a call to the Priest of Pack Chop Shop, hoping to arrange a meeting, at their haven, his own house, or perhaps a neutral location, with as many of the pack as are willing to help . . .

Murphy picks up his phone. "Murph here."
He listens as Archibald proposes a meeting.
"Of course, you are always welcome among our Pack. Please, feel free to visit our haven whenever you need to. Just.. call first. That way we can be sure to tidy things up. Some of us tend to be a bit... messy. If you catch my meaning."
Murphy chuckles nervously, knowing that Archibald understood all too well.

After making the appropriate arrangements, Archibald arrives at the haven of Pack Chop Shop. Greeted by the Abbot, he walks in and accepts the offered seat.

"Thank you for accepting my request for assistance in this matter," he begins.

"I apologize for taking time out of your busy schedules, but I am not sure to whom to turn. Members of your pack expressed a willingness to see this solved, for which I am grateful. The Sword needs it's tools. I only pray that they can be repaired rather than needing to be replaced. Please, tell me, do any of you have experience in this sort of thing?"

With pleading eyes, he looks around at the faces assembled.

Lacy walks from one of the back rooms in the cave with a bit of a start.  "Hey, whose blocking the rabbit ears, you know how hard it is to see my stories down in these..." as he notices Archibald, "..caves."

"Hey Archibald, Murph didn't mention you'd be stopping by.  Can I get something for you?  Scotch?  Coke?  Maybe a quick sandwich?  I try to keep this pace in case anyone with a pulse comes by... it helps that almost nobody eats it, rather fresh."  he heads over to a side corridor that contains a small makeshift kitchenette.

"I apologise for arriving, apparently unannounced. I had assumed your Priest would have informed you." Responding to the Abbot's inquiry, "please, don't trouble yourself over me."

Archibald pauses for a moment in reflection upon what he just said.

"Although, I suppose that's the reason I'm here."

"As many of you became aware of at the last gathering, the mortals of this city that have been gifted with blood of the Sword, and perhaps those not so affiliated (I wouldn't know, I don't associate with the likes of them.), have been experiencing a plague of dreams. The dreams are of what could have been, a life which the Sabbat, nor any vampire, had not touched. These are just dreams of course, and clearly from an outside influence. The furtherance of the Sword occupies my every thought, waking or otherwise."

"The unfortunate side effect, as evidenced in, I assume, those with the least exposure to the Blood, is dissidence. I assure you, I have had no such feelings. However, if these dreams cannot be stopped, all those who experience the dreams will need to be killed. A craftsman can not be expected to work with broken tools."

"So, I have come here, to ask you, and I would like to reiterate that I would never dare impose upon you outside of dire circumstance, for your help. At the last Esbat, you seemed to have drive to see this ended. I would see your every effort assisted, in any way that I can."

"I only ask now: 'what is our first move?'"

*davias thinks for a moment* after going to the science center last gathering i came up with a small list of things that may be capable of causing this...one stands out above the rest but i'd need to find out more information on the subject...i'd also like to do more looking into this toreador as he seems to me at least to be connected to all of this somehow

Lacy sticks his head out of the larder, "for you Archy, it's no trouble at all. Here, have a nice Cuba libre, on the house ". He forces the drink into Archibald's grasp. " well it is either physical or mystical . I'm sure Lexi would be happy to provide the physical examination. I'd like to speak with our bishops , they had mentioned previous experience with this phenominon. how does that sound davias?"

After listening to what her pack members and the elderly gentleman conversation, Alexis slowly walks out from the hall. Sometimes the most valuable observation and study can be done without one knowing it's being observed. She looks at her phone and texts Murphy "watch him closely....in that way only you can."

"I'm not sure a physical examination is what is needed, though if need be, I'll use either someone else ghoul or one of my own. Archibald is too valuable to have a possible mishap happen during such things." She grabs and chair and slides it up next to Archibald. "Tell me, have they gotten worse, better or less frequent or stayed the same? Also has there been any impulses or strong desires out of your normal character that have happened since the dreams?"

Murphy leans in intently to listen to Archibald speak. He focuses on the older gentleman and peers into his worried mind. ((Using Aura Perception to gauge emotion/stress and watch for any weird stuff))
With a calm voice, "I do not mean to impose, and by no means do I intend to read your thoughts, but I will be watching your aura as we speak. Perhaps, if this is metaphysical, some spark or shimmer of its cause may show up as we talk. I fear this may be connected to the faint aura I saw connected to the sarcophagus."
