Tanning hides

Post by FrankKennedy on Mon Nov 11, 2013 1:48 pm

Frank kneeled over the pelt working arduously. Had he still been among the living, sweat would surely have formed upon his brow. The first step in tanning a hide was to flesh it out, which Frank had done in Desante's basement after Vergil had taken the bones. Puzzling what he would need those for, Frank made a mental note to research the uses of werewolf bones. The second step, which was currently in progress, was to salt the hide in order to set the hair and prevent decay. Heavy application of non-ionized salt was the key to any good hide. Completing the task, Frank wiped his brow, not from need but from some left over habit. Pulling out a burner, he called an illusive figure to ask questions now that three other items had been crossed off the list.

"Tell me about this baby Caine business" he said after the phone picked up.

"Meet me at the boathouse..."

Toady already knew how this was going to go...  Hopefully the child's head hadn't already been polluted, at that point it's almost easier to wipe the slate clean and start over...

"Wait here, I'll be back..." He directed his company who had come to stay for the foreseeable future...

It was going to be a long night...

Frank drove up to the boathouse by the lake, this time packing a change of clothes rather than risk driving back wet a second time curious for knowledge of the great Caine.

(OOC: I was told he only took the bones so Frank grabbed the rest. It's not important to the scene, we can figure it out later, if you took its fine. Not gonna make a big deal about it.)
