A hunting we will go

Saturday June 29th

*Davias stands up and decides to do something constructive with the evening.. Looking at Kit he has an idea* Kit i think it was time you learned to stalk human prey. How hungry are you?

Kit opens one eye to look at Davias, mentally debating on several responses before she settles on, "Why?"

*Davias looks sternly at kit for a moment* For several reasons but the most important one being that we wont always be close enough to safe woods for you to hunt so you need to be able to properly hunt humans. That and trust me when i say better i teach you than your grandsire.

Kit shrugs looking unconcerned. She stands and stretches before looking expectantly at Davias.

*Davias nods as Kit stands and motions her to follow hm.* i've been looking over the map of the established territories and i've found a place that will suit our needs nicely just follow me. *Walking out of the haven Davias shifts into his falcon form and waits for Kit to do the same before launching himself into the air.*

Kit rolls her eyes before shifting to a smaller falcon to follow Davias into the air.

*Davias flies south for a only a few minutes before spirling down to land in an alley behind some store fronts. Looking around carefully he makes certain no one is around before shifting to human form and waits for Kit to land* Now our pupose here is two fold. First you need to know how to entice the prey to you instead of chasing them down or ambushing them. This can be done multiple ways but for now i will make this easy. I want you to bring two people back here preferably both men, that could help you carry me. Tell them your boyfriend was mugged and was hurt badly and bring them into the alley. i will hide here and be ready to help you with them when they arrive. *Davias waits to make sure the plan sinks in*

Kit lands beside Davias, taking a cue from him when to shift back.  She listens to his instructions and quickly makes a face at the idea of 'entice'.  Talking was still a trial, and not one she preferred to bother with.  She glances at Davias, knowing the answer, but trying anyway.
"Ambush better?"

*Davias looked at her sternly but felt a small bit of amusement at the question* Sometimes, but ambushing a human can startle them and if you're not quick can alert other humans to something bad happening and unlike chipmunks and squrrels humans flock to other humans in need and that can be dangerous for us. *Davias hopes this explanation makes sense. Kit needed to at least be able to feed herself in the city if she needed to.*

Kit sighed and peeked out of the alley, lookong around carefully. There was not a lot of humans around, just a few small groups and some stragglers that walked alone. It was puzzling that something that 'flocked' together showed no cohesion now. She finally noticed a pair of men, not too old or too big, that likely would serve her purpose. She waited until they moved closer before stepping out of the alley slowly. She approached them cautiously, like some unknown species. Apparently they noticed her, because they slowed as well and stopped chattering between themselves.
"Help?" she tried to sound plaintive. Now they stopped entirely and spoke quietly to each other, but her sharp ears caught the words as they debated who or what Kit was and what to do.
"Help? They hurt David. Need help?" Kit was not about to use Davias name. She tried to look even more pathetic, thinking of the one time she had fallen into a freezing cold river and trying to reproduce how pathetic and bedragged she had looked when she climbed out. She staggered closer to the two men, reaching up to tug at one's sleeve.
"Help, please?" she put more urgency in her tone and pointed towards the alley. Apparently she got lucky as the men began following her towards to alley. If they slowed, she tugged at a sleeve again, keeping them moving. She shuddered at the weakness she was faking. Weakness was something that should be hidden, not flaunted, and it could get you killed. This whole rouse was uncomfortable, but she wanted to prove to Davias that she could do it.
"Shock or something?" one of the men commented, noticing her shaking. Kit ignored it, and ignored the urge to claw his chest open right then and there.

*Watching Kit leave the alley Davias takes a moment to make himself unseen before clearing the alley. It hadn't taken Kit very long to find two men of decent build and start pulling them to the alley entrence. Making sure he was enough out of the way of the entrence to the alley he lets Kit drag the two men into the alley before following behind and blocking their path. In an instant Davias dropped his stealth and latched onto the neck of one man while knocking the other's head into the wall hard enough to knock him cold. After draining his victem and gently putting him down Davias motions Kit over to the other.* You did well not eat up I'm sure you'll find this a tastier meal than the dog, I'll be right back I need to call Murph to come pick us up. *with that Davias exits the alley leaving Kit to her meal and dials murph's number."

Kit nods at Davias before crouching over her meal to drain him as well. She closes her eyes as she drinks, savoring the taste.

*ring ring* "Davias? What's up?"

*Davias hears the phone pick up and Murph's voice.* I need you to drive into Dormont and pick me and Kit up along with some materials we've found.

"This didn't occur to you before you left?  Chop him up and throw him in some garbage bags.  Carry him home. Chop.... Shop?" Murphy chuckles, then ends the call.

*Davias grumbles and hits redial and waits for his priest to pick up again.*
