Testing the Waters...
Small but lethal.
Young but intelligent.
Positively cute as a button, the kind of child most motherly women want to cuddle and read to sleep.
That is, except for the fangs and biting and stuff.
So many underestimated her in the past. They learned...
Black hair blows in wisps against a pale face as the girl known as Rini Quinn walks into the Cathedral of Learning, taking everything in. A new place, no allies, no friends. She came with some other westerners, but she didn't know many of them, and didn't talk to them much. Her mentor would be arriving a bit later, but she didn't mind. She wasn't INCREDIBLY new anymore, she could definitely get along without him, even in a place where she had no friends.
Ha. Friends. That's a term she needs to erase from her vocabulary.
She missed the call, but surely there was still stuff to do. She isn't THAT late. It's nighttime. She'd probably find somebody here.
Her attire is normal for a child. Purple shorts, a black shirt, slightly tattered shoes... her hair, however, is neatly styled in pretty little ringlets. She's got a teddy bear with her, one that is kept ridiculously clean for a child's toy.
"Hello?" She calls out, sounding and looking a bit like a lost puppy dog. "Is anybody here?"
