In a huge nimbus of extra-dimensional energy, Toshi steps out of a tear in the fabric of reality and shakes the snow from the shoulders of his coat casually. Emerging in an alley on 18th street, as he'd planned, he immediately makes for Toady's location with all available haste.

Toady waits patiently in the rectory, watching the game on the clearly "non-vow-of-poverty" sized TV he had installed in the back rooms of St. Sebastian's Church...

He listens to something that speaks to him from over his shoulder and responds to the air "what do you mean 'Toshi's coming?'"
