Official Notice given out Sunday 10/13

To All True Members of the Sword of Pittsburgh,

Last night was a terrible blow to your city, but you must not falter. When wounded, we redoubled our efforts and carry on. This is the very reason you were all summoned to the city to begin with. This city must remain true.

With the loss of your local leadership, two actions must be taken:

1.) You must choose, from amongst you, two to step forward and become the new Bishops of the city.

2.) You must find your Archbishop, in whatever state he may be in.

I urge you, when choosing, do not simply opt for the mightiest among you. A strong Bishop is good, but there is more to the job than power. Additionally, it would behoove you to choose Bishops who differ in outlook and hold strong to their ideals. It may lead to bickering, but contention strengthens resolve. In the end, however, the choice will be up to you.

When the Archbishop is found, those chosen will be officially made Bishops, and the proper Ritae will be performed. If he is capable, the Archbishop shall preside over them. If he is not, then I shall.

Furthermore, the traitor DeSantes must be found and executed. Likewise to the master of the gargoyles that attacked your city and Bishopric. It is known that they flew South to Morgantown after their assault.

Lastly, the Monomacy that resulted in the exile of Brother Virgil is void. It was officiated under false pretenses and the sacred ritae was violated. This is yet another mark against the traitor DeSantes. Brother Virgil is to be welcomed back to the city of Pittsburgh whenever he should choose to return.

To the above end, I nominate myself to fill one of the vacant Bishop offices. I urge another individual to do the same as soon as possible so that we may make progress in solving these issues immediately.

It is reassuring that the Diocese responds so quickly to our situation.

The traitor DeSantes' unmasking has struck deep to us all. I am filled with rage that he walks the night without repercussion. I would also seek your endorsement my brothers and sisters. I want to lead this arm of The Sword to seek and destroy the traitor and his Camarilla dogs.

We have grown closer in the few months we have all been in this city, and the Sect is growing stronger here. I want to grow the spirit of each of us further. As long as we fight as one, we will continue to find victory.

Finally, I am most pleased to here that Virgil is restored to good standing here in our city. You, Virgil, were paramount in uncovering the deceptions fed to us of late. That service is not unnoticed.

Brothers and Sisters of the Sword,

I come before you as a loyal member of the sword seeking to guide our ranks in these dark times. I have stood beside you through battles and words. I have spilled much blood in defense of the sword and in it's name. I will seek and hunt out the master of these Gargoyles and with my brothers and sisters aid, destroy them!

Last Esbat, I lead a group of our brothers and sisters into the matter of "Sally" the doll master and we struck her down with righteous fury. She was unmade and her dark doll creations with it. Also, the matter of the "Icecream Man" and "Tasty Cream" was resolved when we stormed his home and found him as a red monster of mystical nature that could consume metal and grow stronger. He was defeated by myself and fellow members. I have aided in many steps along the way since my time in Pittsburgh, I do hope these will show you my devotion to our cause.

If we do not unite at this time then we will become lost and open to attacks. We must stand united against the enemy. We were deceived last Esbat by a plan that has yet to be fully deciphered. With the blessings of my fellow Cainites, I wish to take up the mantle of leadership from Ductus to Bishop and give my wisdom of my days to the younger members of the sect and to those who need or seek guidance. There is a time for words and there is a time for swords and fangs. The time for swords and fangs has come, rise up my fellow sword members, let me guide our fury, Caine's fury upon those who defy us!

i agree with brother nathan in that time for the sword to rise up and strike down those who would stand against us. my time as a cainite has not been as long as others but my conviction will not be swayed from the beliefs of the sabbat, i would also like to the support of the city to take up the mantle of leadership. there are many preparations that must be made if we are to find the archbishop and the strike down our enemies, especially desantes the betrayer who caused me and this city the greatest blows, i would ask the he belongs to me so that i may regain my honor. i will start by asking others of the sword to join us and start to find out what specialties they have so we can maximize our success, and if need be form specialized groups. any information that you wish to add will be greatly appreciated.

It would be best to finalize our leadership as quickly as possible. With this many august cainites stepping forward to lead this city, I will remove myself from contention in order to speed the selection process. My fullest confidence is with each of the three other candidates.

Think about it - I know the city better than any of you new pimps, my pack is missing, so I am impartial as a motherfucker when it comes to you all fighting over who has a bigger dick or whose Cheerios got pissed, and like I told each of you since you showed up here, this is Lil' Mookie's city, why not make dat shit official? Plus, one of you Ultra-Con fucks is bound to be one of the bishops, shouldn't there be a Loyalist voice in the clergy?
